We are located in the Barra de Santiago Nature reserve just two hours from the capital.

The excellent location in front of the ocean gives the visitor not only access to a beautiful beach, kilometers long and perfect waves for surfing but at the back side you have the calm waters of the estuary (lagoon) and the best preserved mangrove forest in the country. Barra de Santiago is a place for nature lovers. The wildlife is impressive: turtles on the beach, crocodiles in the upper parts of the mangroves, reptiles and a large variety of birds. The solitary beaches are perfect for long walks, running, yoga and meditation. We are only 15 minutes from the tip of the peninsula (Bocana) which is perfect for playing in the water and enjoy beautiful sunsets.

The visitors can learn how to surf, rent boards, go fishing, take tours in kayaks or motor boats in the mangroves, services provided by the locals, or just relax in a hammock under the coconut palms reading a book and listening to the waves on the beach.

From here you can easily reach El Imposible National Park or Ruta de Las Flores.
